Artiste Zee Avi is married.
The 35-year-old Sarawakian tied the knot on Monday (Nov 22) with Kenji Matano, who is originally from Japan.

The Bitter Heart singer also shared the news on her Instagram on Tuesday (Nov 23) by posting a video of her in her wedding dress, where she showed off her ring.

In a previous interview, the Miri-born singer had said that she wants a husband who understands her career as a performer and someone who is unique.
“Whatever it is, my future husband must be able to accept my favourite food, which is ulam (traditional salad),” she had said in that interview.
“I am OK if he is not in the entertainment field as well, he just has to be someone who gets that I am a singer-songwriter who spends a lot of time in the studio, where there are usually a lot of men.”
Zee Avi's soothing voice and songs gained her international stardom ever since the release of her self-titled debut album which peaked at No. 130 on the US Billboard 200 albums chart in 2009.
