TVB actress Ali Lee denies dating billionaire after they were seen at a hotel

After Hong Kong media published photos of TVB star Ali Lee and businessman Mark Chan at a hotel recently, many wondered if the two were in a relationship.

Both are said to be single – Lee previously dated actor-presenter Danny Chan, while Mark Chan’s wife passed away in 2019.

One portal mentioned that the billionaire had tried to woo Lee after her romantic relationship ended in 2020. The article also highlighted that Mark had rented a snowmaking machine last Christmas to surprise the actress.

A mutual friend had introduced them about two years ago, noted the online outlet.

Both have come forth to deny the rumour that they’re dating. According to them, they met at the hotel to discuss work.

Although Mark admitted to the media they were in fact not on a date, he apparently had said: “That’s what I want too. Could you arrange for that to happen?” before adding that he was “just joking”.

Meanwhile, Lee rejected the rumour outright telling reporters that she met up with Mark “to discuss a contract about a movie that focuses on brain degeneration”.

And to the question whether Lee and Mark would become more than business acquaintances, the actress replied: “It won't happen, thank you.”
