Actress Gloria Tang Pui Yee made headlines after winning Miss Chinese (Vancouver) Pageant 2012 and Miss Chinese International Pageant 2013. She then received a contract to join TVB shortly after.

Things looked rosy for the actress last year when she finally landed her first female lead role in the drama series Take Two, which premiered Oct 18 this year. This was her first lead role in eight years after joining TVB.

The Hong Kong-Canadian actress was also nominated for the Most Improved Female Artiste at the TVB Anniversary Awards 2020. Many took this as a sign that the actress has finally caught her big break and would be moving up in her career.

However, Tang has not received any new roles for the 10 months following her completion of Take Two.
