Naim Daniel continues to reach new heights with his latest success arriving in the form of an MTV Europe Music Awards 2021 nomination.
Taking to Instagram on Oct 22, the singer shared that this nomination was a dream come true. "Being the only Malaysian representative for the BEST SOUTH EAST ASIA ACT category at MTV EMA 2021. I'll feel very grateful even with getting Top 5. Too much to be thankful for. Thank you everyone," he wrote.
"I am very excited to learn that I was nominated for this big event," shared the 24-year-old with BH Online.
Similar to his Instagram post, Naim stated that being nominated was already considered a huge achievement for himself. "If I win, I consider it a bonus. If not, it's still something to be proud of for me as an artiste. This is a new and valuable experience for a young person like me," he added to the portal.
He also mentioned that he was grateful to know that others abroad also recognise his talent.
Aside from Naim, other nominations in the Best South-East Asia Act Category include Ink Waruntorn from Thailand, Singaporean artiste JJ Lin, Lyondra Ginting from Indonesia and SB19 from Philippines.
This year's event will be held in Budapest, Hungary on Nov 15.
