Actress Seo Ye-ji is in talks to play the lead role in a new K-drama titled Eve’s Scandal, Korean media reports.
This news comes five months after she was embroiled in a controversy involving her ex-boyfriend, actor Kim Jung-hyun.
Due to this scandal – in which she allegedly controlled Kim’s behaviour, forbidding him to interact with his female co-stars – and other alleged accusations such as unreasonable behaviour towards a staff member, Seo exited the K-drama titled Island back in May.
A number of brands also dropped her as their model.
The It's Okay To Not Be Okay actress had denied these allegations.
In regards to Seo considering making a comeback, her agency didn’t give out any details other than to say: “Seo Ye-ji received an offer to appear in Eve’s Scandal and we are currently reviewing it.”
The drama is reportedly set to premiere in the first half of next year.
It centres on an expensive divorce lawsuit involving a super rich couple.
If she accepts the role, the Save Me star will be playing the character who’s caught in the centre of the divorce.
Kingdom: Ashin Of The North actor Park Byung-eun is also said to be in discussion to star in Eve's Scandal, marking his first lead role.
