Jason Sudeikis’ split from Olivia Wilde is no laughing matter.

The Golden Globe Award-winning funnyman is getting candid about his breakup from the 37-year-old actress, to whom he was engaged for seven years before going their separate ways in November 2020.

In a cover story for GQ, he shared that he didn’t have all the answers about it.

“I’ll have a better understanding of why in a year and an even better one in two, and an even greater one in five,” Sudeikis said, adding, “and it’ll go from being, you know, a book of my life to becoming a chapter to a paragraph to a line to a word to a doodle.”

Right now, the 45-year-old Ted Lasso creator and star is just focused on the lessons of it.

“That’s an experience that you either learn from or make excuses about,” he added.

Meanwhile, Wilde is romantically linked to British pop singer Harry Styles, who is 10 years her junior.

In January, the Wilde and Styles – working together on the upcoming film Don’t Worry Darling – were seen holding hands at a wedding and happily doting on each other.

Ted Lasso S2 is out now on Apple TV+. The comedy recently scored 20 Emmy nominations for its inaugural season. – New York Daily News/Tribune News Service
