Malaysian film 'Miimaland' wins best horror, best director awards at film festival in Toronto

Malaysian film Miimaland won two awards – Best Horror Film and Best Director (Nevin Hiong) – at the AltFF Alternative Film Festival Spring 2021 in Toronto, Canada.

Hiong’s film beat four others – Dead Destination and Faith from Britain, Edwin (Canada) and Thousands Of Years (the United States) – in the festival’s Feature Film category.
