Afdlin Shauki considers joining politics to represent arts industry

Datuk Afdlin Shauki has tried his hands at just about everything within the showbiz industry – acting, comedy, directing, producing, screenwriting, singing and songwriting.

The 49-year-old is now considering a career in politics, telling Harian Metro: "I've thought about it (joining politics). Since I've done a lot of humanitarian aid work, my friends have asked if I want to join politics.
