Crime documentary Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness, which sheds light on big cat breeding and the eccentric characters involved, became wildly popular when it premiered last March on Netflix.
So much so, one of its lead characters, big-cat rights activist Carole Baskin is now a contestant on the popular US dance competition series, Dancing With The Stars.
Now in its 29th season, the show pairs a celebrity with a professional dancer. Each week, Baskin and his dance partner Pasha Pashkov compete with 14 other pairs. The pair with the lowest score is eliminated.
The 59-year-old stayed true to her theme, dancing to Eye Of The Tiger during her opening performance on Sept 14. The sequence began with dance partner Pashkov trapped in a cage and Baskin setting him free.
A week later, she grooved to another feline-themed track What's New Pussy Cat? by Tom Jones.
Unfortunately, Baskin is among the lowest-scoring contestants so far, landing in the bottom two for her latest performance.
Baskin is set to dance to Circle Of Life from The Lion King next. Will she give a roaring performance?
