Jason Leong is set to be the third Malaysian comedian to perform his stand-up special for Netflix after Harith Iskander and Kavin Jay in 2018.

Dr. Jason Leong: Hashtag Blessed will premiere sometime in September in the international streaming giant's 190 countries. There is no exact release date yet.

"I'm excited to be on Netflix. Now the world can see how good I am at stand-up comedy. And also my humility. When it comes to being humble, I am the best. And also comedy. Yes, ” Leong said in a press statement.

Leong is a medical doctor by training. He gave his first stand-up routine 10 years ago at an open mic event.

Leong's comedy career has grown leaps and bounds ever since, becoming the first Malaysian to win the 7th Annual International Hong Kong Comedy Festival.

So much so, he left his medical career after five years and is now a full-time comedian.

He is hashtag blessed indeed!
