Malaysian film Redha received the Audience Choice Award at the Luang Prabang Film Festival in Laos on Dec 18. According to a press statement, the winning film was decided by a five-star online rating system where viewers submit their score of a film after its screening. A total of 32 Southeast Asian films were selected to be screened at the Luang Prabang Film Festival.

Redha beat entries like crime thriller Bad Genius (Thailand), action movie Jailbreak (Cambodia) and Cemetery Of Splendour (Thailand) for the Audience Choice Award.
