Tsuburaya Productions Company Limited (Tsuburaya) has announced that it will be featuring its upcoming Ultraman Card Game at Anime Festival Asia Singapore 23 (AFA23) at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre from Nov 24 to 26.

According to a statement, the unveiling of the card game will feature a test play, along with a live Ultraman stage show and Gomora figure decoration. Tsuburaya will also be holding a presentation on Nov 24 to introduce its business plan for retailers.

The event will give fans the first opportunity to see and try the card game before its scheduled debut in summer 2024. A special PR card will be distributed to guests who meet certain requirements, the details of which will be updated on the company’s official website.

Designed with high quality artwork to express the appealing elements of Ultraman’s appearance, power-ups, special moves, and type system, Ultraman Card Game is a trading card game that combines the world-building of the Ultraman series with game play and collectability that can be enjoyed by both children and adults.

Ultraman Card Game is scheduled to be linked closely with other Ultraman-related works, services and live events. The first rollout markets for the game are scheduled to be Japan, North America, and selected parts of Asia.

Tsuburaya Productions is the creator of a number of live-action special effects films, the most well-known being the Ultraman series, including Ultra Q and Ultraman, which first aired on Japanese television in 1966. – Bernama
