Refugee theatre group launches benefit show to realise its arts centre dream in KL

Converging Paths, a theatre and film event by refugee-led arts organisation Parastoo Theatre Team, supported by the Asia Pacific Refugee Rights Network, will be showing at Nero Event Space, PJPac in 1 Utama Shopping Mall in Petaling Jaya on June 4.

The fund-raising showcase, presented at the venue's state-of-the-art black box space, will feature a theatre show titled The Roof Has Collapsed and a film called The Person Within The Frames, produced by Saleh Sepas, the founder of Parastoo who is from Afghanistan, and Amin Kamrani, a documentary filmmaker from Iran, respectively.
