Spy novel master John le Carré, who died in December 2020, will have a new book on shelves this coming October.
Silverview will be the writer's 26th and final novel. His writing career spanned over half a century until he died from pneumonia in December, age 89. He leaves a body of work including major classics of the spy genre, such as The Spy Who Came In From The Cold and Call For The Dead, as well as a previously unpublished manuscript, Silverview, which publisher Viking describes as "a brilliantly conceived novel about the tension between personal and political loyalty."
