There are few greater rags-to-riches tales than that of lobster and its rise to glory. In its earlier incarnation, lobster was considered food for the poorest of the poor and was often served to prisoners, servants and even domestic animals. In the early 20th century, when train journeys were on the rise, canned lobster was served on trains.

Pretty soon, enterprising chefs realised it tasted best when it was cooked fresh. This started a chain reaction that transformed lobster from plebeian fare to ultra-luxurious.

This 25 and 26 September, iconic restaurant Burger & Lobster in KLCC pays tribute to World Lobster Day and the unassuming rise of this sea creature with a series of ‘claw-some deals’.

In an addition to all these ex-shell-ent deals, diners will also have the chance to savour the brand new ice-cream brioche which has been crafted especially for World Lobster Day.
