LOVEBIRDS on northern Penang island can now enjoy a lavish Valentine’s Day dinner at Feringgi Grill which has reopened for dine-ins.
The restaurant at Shangri-La’s Rasa Sayang Resort and Spa has always been a popular venue for the most romantic day of the year, and the Government’s lifting of dining restrictions comes at an opportune time.
Do make your reservations as soon as possible as seating capacity is limited due to physical distancing requirements.
Awaiting couples is a three-course Valentine’s Day Set Menu for two. Priced at RM400, it is available for dinner daily until Sunday.
It features some of the grill’s most popular dishes, crafted with fine ingredients. After all, only the best will do when you are pampering your other half.
The starter of Hokkaido Scallops sets the mood for a sensual evening. Regarded as an aphrodisiac, the plump molluscs come with fennel, cherry tomato, salmon roe and pumpkin puree.
For the main course, one option is Wagyu Beef Tenderloin. Perfectly seasoned and blush pink on the inside, this umami-laden prime cut has Provencal vegetables, truffle potato and Bordelaise sauce for company.
Alternatively, there is Cod Fish, paired with asparagus, zucchini, saffron cream sauce and highly- prized morel mushrooms.
Double Chocolate Dome with fudge sponge, chocolate soil crumble and berry compote ends the night on a blissful note.
Couples can also have the set with champagne at RM888.88.
