NIGHT cravings can creep in even if one has been eating a lot during the day.
If you are wondering how to satisfy those cravings, the Crispy Chicken Burger in Sungai Buloh might just be your thing.
For only RM4.20, the crispy and tender chicken is not to be missed.
Crispy Chicken Burger stall owner Azlan Shafie said he has been in business for 10 years.
However, he used to sell only Ramly burgers up until 2018. Then he turned his sights to the crispy chicken burger.
Azlan said he started selling the burgers when he realised that his friends, who
were selling the same fare, were earning good income.
So, he approached them and learned a few basics, including how to make the dish more appetising and the frying techniques.
What makes his burger stand out is that all the ingredients and spices used for his version of crispy chicken are homemade.
Customers can also choose to order the usual crispy chicken burger or double up the meat as well as add extra cheese or eggs to make it more filling.
Azlan has two stalls – one in Sungai Buloh and the other in Bestari Jaya (formerly known as Batang Berjuntai).
He manages the stall in Sungai Buloh with his wife Rafidah Ayu Ahmad and nephew Zul Fadzlie Zadin while his brother manages the other one.
Azlan said he plans to open more stalls but will concentrate on the existing stalls for now.
His stall also sells nasi lemak for RM1.70, and can sell as many as 120 to 150 packs a day.
Azlan said his customers came from a wide area including Sungai Buloh, Damansara Damai, Gombak and even from Kuala Selangor.
Besides opening new branches, Azlan also plans to introduce a new menu akin to crispy chicken burger — crispy squid burger.
“Nonetheless, I still need to reduce the waiting order time from 30 minutes to 15 minutes before introducing the new menu.
“It will affect the business if the customers have to wait too long and they might start to complain, ” he said.
His stall’s business hours are from 7pm to 12.30am daily.
The stall is located at Jalan BRP 6/13 Bukit Rahman Putra, Sungai Buloh.
