THE grand finale of Lestari Summit 2025, held at the Dian Ballroom, Raffles Hotel Jakarta, concluded on a high note on Oct 2, with the presentation of the Lestari Awards 2025 to corporations and small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) with the best sustainability initiatives.
The awards ceremony, attended by Indonesia’s National Development Planning (PPN) Minister Rachmat Pambudy, became a key highlight of the series of events celebrating sustainable business leaders. In his address, Rachmat expressed his hopes for the winners of the Lestari Awards 2025.
“We want Lestari Awards not only to give recognition, but also to broaden understanding of what is happening with climate change, what the consequences are, and what obligations companies have in order to remain sustainable,” said Rachmat during his opening remarks at the event.
KG Media Sustainability vice president Wisnu Nugroho, also emphasised that Lestari Awards is a platform for businesses committed to sustainable practices.
“Lestari Awards is a sustainable path chosen to showcase the good initiatives carried out by various corporations,” Wisnu noted in his speech.
Wisnu further highlighted that this year saw an increase in participation, reflecting growing awareness among business actors about the importance of sustainable practices.
“Last year, there were 92 submissions. This year, submissions rose to 126, an increase of about 40%. Participants also grew by 20 companies compared to last year,” he added.
