IMPRESSIVE laser displays and twirling lights illuminated the hall, as heart-thumping beats threatened to knock you off your feet while you tried to sing along to every catchy tune – in many ways, Scottish electro pop darlings Chvrches’ show in town last week was a religious experience for both fans of the group and fans of good pop music alike.
