Cops nab 13 over brawl outside Kepong entertainment outlet

KUALA LUMPUR: Over a dozen suspects have been arrested following a brawl outside an entertainment outlet in Kepong.

Sentul OCPD Asst Comm Basri Sagoni, in a statement Tuesday (April 14), said that a report on the fight was lodged on April 12.

“Acting on the information, the police successfully arrested 13 men aged between 18 and 45 years old on April 13. All suspects were detained on suspicion of being involved in a fight that occurred in front of the entertainment outlet.

“Investigations showed that the fight was believed to have been triggered by the actions of a drunk customer at the premises, which led to a disturbance. All have been remanded until April 16 and the investigation paper has been referred to the deputy public prosecutor for further action," he said.
