PETALING JAYA: Infomina Bhd
’s net profit for its first quarter ended Aug 31, 2026, rose to RM10.55mil from RM8.08mil in the previous corresponding quarter, mainly due to the increase in profit contribution from its technology infrastructure operations, maintenance, and support services segment.
Revenue, meanwhile, grew to RM76.19mil from RM54.63mil a year earlier, also due to the increase in revenue contribution from the company’s technology infrastructure operations, maintenance, and support services segment.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said its outstanding order book increased to RM614.2mil during the quarter under review, pursuant to the recent contracts secured in Malaysia, notably from the Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan, and a Malaysian financial institution, as well as the contract secured in Japan from Panasonic Digital Co Ltd.
“The company has also completed the acquisition of 51% equity interest in Blue Fortress Sdn Bhd, which is expected to complement and strengthen the existing cybersecurity, digital transformation and managed technology services offered by the group.
“In addition, the company has been appointed by Broadcom to distribute and support its Mainframe Software portfolio across 12 Asia Pacific markets, strengthening the group’s regional footprint and broadening its addressable market.”
Infomina said the appointment expands its distribution rights across Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China and Japan, while extending its reach into four new markets – Australia, New Zealand, South Korea and India.
“The appointment builds on the group’s long-standing relationship with Broadcom, which named it Broadcom Software Mainframe Partner of the Year for five consecutive years from 2021 to 2025.
“These developments, together with disciplined execution, are expected to support the group’s growth trajectory, enabling it to capitalise on emerging opportunities and deliver sustainable long-term value to its stakeholders.”
Barring any unforeseen circumstances, Infomina said its board of directors remains optimistic about the group’s outlook despite the ongoing global economic uncertainties.
