PETALING JAYA: Fraser & Neave Holdings (F&N) has announced the appointment of Tarang Gupta as its chief executive officer or CEO with effect from Oct 1.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, F&N said Gupta (49) will succeed Lim Yew Hoe (60), who has retired.
“Gupta possesses a strong understanding and experience of halal requirements and is well-acquainted with the needs of the fast moving consumer goods industry,” it said.
In a statement, F&N said Gupta has over 24 years of experience in the fast-moving consumer goods sector, with a track record of leading growth and transformation across Asia and Africa.
“He has held various senior leadership roles overseeing complex organisations with end-to-end responsibility for commercial performance, operational excellence and capability development. His leadership experience spans multiple consumer categories, including dairy and nutrition.”
