KKB Engineering lands RM517mil water project


KKB Engineering said the project is expected to contribute positively towards the earnings and net assets of the company and group for the duration of the project.

PETALING JAYA: KKB Engineering Bhd has secured a RM517mil contract from the government through the Regional Corridor Development Authority for the “Score – Samalaju Water Supply Physical Infrastructure Phase 2” project.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said the time of completion for the project shall be 36 months.

KKB Engineering added that it will be required to enter into a written agreement with the government.

“The project will have no effect on the share capital of the company.

“It is expected to contribute positively towards the earnings and net assets of the company and group for the duration of the project.

“Risk factors affecting the project include execution risks such as availability of skilled manpower and materials, foreign exchange and changes in pricing, weather conditions and/or political, economic and regulatory conditions,” said the company.
