PETALING JAYA: Ajiya Bhd
is disposing of a single-storey factory with a two-storey office erected thereon in Puchong, Selangor to Esprit Care Sdn Bhd for RM58mil.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Ajiya said the property is located on freehold industrial land measuring 13,536 sq m.
The proposed disposal is undertaken as part of the group’s restructuring and consolidation efforts to rationalise its asset portfolio, streamlining operations and align with its current and future business requirements.
“The proceeds from the proposed disposal are expected to enhance the group’s liquidity position and financial flexibility, facilitate the consolidation of resources, and provide additional working capital to support its future operations and business initiatives,” the company said.
