KUALA LUMPUR: Divfex Bhd
(DFX) has secured two separate supply agreements worth a combined RM120.12 million for the procurement and supply of key equipments for a 15-megawatt (MW) data centre fit-out in Penang.
The company said its wholly owned subsidiary, Diversified Gateway Bhd (DGB), and its 51 per cent-owned subsidiary, Excel Commerce Solutions Sdn Bhd (EXCEL), signed the agreements with a leading Malaysian-incorporated data centre company involved in the provision of data centre facility services and related infrastructure today.
Under the first supply agreement, DGB would supply generator sets, transformers, switchgear and low-voltage equipment for RM84.44 million, while EXCEL would supply cables under the second agreement for RM35.67 million.
"Delivery under the supply agreements are expected to be completed within three months from the first delivery, subject to an extension of up to six months by mutual agreement in writing," it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.
Barring any unforeseen circumstances, it said the supply agreements are expected to contribute positively towards the revenue, future earnings and net assets of DFX Group for the financial year ending June 30, 2027.
The company said there were no foreseeable significant risks other than operational, procurement, delivery and counterparty payment risks associated with the supply agreements during the project duration. - Bernama
