Glomac to gain from new launches, land monetisation

TA Research said the new projects accounted for nearly half of the group’s about RM371mil planned launches, with the remaining RM208mil targeted for the fourth quarter of the financial year 2027.

PETALING JAYA: Glomac Bhd is stepping up property launches and selectively monetising its landbank as it seeks to lift sales and improve capital efficiency, says TA Research.

Glomac last weekend launched approximately RM163mil worth of projects, comprising Qaya shop offices at Saujana Perdana, Serai 3 double-storey terraces at Sungai Buloh Country Resort and 16 Legacy semi-detached properties at Saujana Rawang.

In a note to clients, TA Research said these projects accounted for nearly half of the group’s about RM371mil planned launches, with the remaining RM208mil targeted for the fourth quarter of the financial year 2027.

“Initial response was encouraging, with Qaya and 16 Legacy seeing better early interest,” it added.

“Management is confident both projects can be fully sold within the next six months, while Serai 3 is expected to take longer as the group is still clearing the remaining 20 units at Serai 2.”

That said, the research house expects Glomac’s capital efficiency to improve as it adopts a more active landbank management strategy.
