Guan Chong Bhd
’s brief bout of profit-taking looks ready to end as the share turned higher yesterday upon finding support at the 14-day simple moving average (SMA).
The share is looking to reclaim its recent losses and move higher still on a robust uptrend with its sights on RM1.49.
Past this resistance, the share is likely to aim for RM1.70, which was last achieved in January 2025.
The slow-stochastic has stabilised at 66 points, while the 14-day relative strength index (RSI) is rising at 60 points. The daily moving average convergence/divergence (MACD) histogram has dipped into negative territory, but is expected to turn its head around.
Support is pegged to RM1.22 and RM1.05.

Nationgate Holdings Bhd
remains in a bullish pattern despite a recent sideways trajectory.
A staggered uptrend can be seen on the daily price chart, suggesting a return to a rally past the recent trading high of RM1.89.
Further resistance can be seen at RM2.46.
The slow-stochastic remains bullish at 69 points, while the RSI is strong at 63 points. The MACD histogram is awaiting a fresh push to cross into positive territory, signalling bullish momentum.
Support is found at RM1.37 and RM1.09.

Pentamaster Corp Bhd
edged higher yesterday in an attempt to end the slide in share price that began in early August.
The stock is attempting to rise above the 14- and 21-day SMA lines, and resume an uptrend past the recent high of RM5.71.
The slow-stochastic has returned from oversold conditions, suggesting the recovery process has begun.
The RSI has arrived at 50-points, which signals a bullish comeback.
Support lies at RM5 and RM4.70.
