Kerjaya Prospek raises stake in ES Sunlogy to 28.27%

PETALING JAYA: Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Acumen Marketing Sdn Bhd, has acquired an additional 147.7 million ordinary shares in ES Sunlogy Bhd, raising its equity stake from 9.09% to 28.27% in the latter.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Kerjaya noted Acumen had entered into direct business transactions with 18 ES Sunlogy shareholders, acquiring the shares at an average purchase price of 27.2 sen each or total purchase consideration of RM40.18mil.

This follows Kerjaya’s earlier announcement on July 16, 2026 of Acumen’s subscription to 70 million new shares in ES Sunlogy for RM18.76mil.

Kerjaya added the latest acquisition enables it to strengthen its strategic position in ES Sunlogy by becoming its largest shareholder.

“The board believes ES Sunlogy's engineering and renewable energy businesses have favourable long-term growth prospects, supported by increasing investments in renewable energy infrastructure, energy transition initiatives and sustainable development,” it said in the filing.
