PETALING JAYA: Ocean Vantage Holdings Bhd
's (OVH) subsidiaries, Ocean Vantage Engineering Sdn Bhd (OVE) and Ocean Vantage Inspection Testing Sdn Bhd (OVIT), have been appointed as panel contractors under PETRONAS’ Integrated Well Continuity Services (IWCS) framework.
The appointment is effective from July 10, 2026 to Oct 9, 2029, and allows OVH to participate in intervention, workover, and abandonment projects across Malaysia’s upstream oil and gas sector.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the OVH noted OVE has been appointed for nine IWCS sub-packages, including coiled tubing, wellhead maintenance, well tractor and stroker, through tubing, integrated well intervention, perforate-wash-cement, fishing and milling, integrated workover, and subsea intervention.
OVIT has been appointed for slickline services. The ten packages span all three IWCS categories, significantly strengthening OVH’s integrated upstream service offering.
The IWCS arrangement covers 13 packages across 17 Petroleum Arrangement Contractors (PACs), including PETRONAS Carigali, ExxonMobil, Hibiscus Petroleum Bhd
, Shell, Hess and TotalEnergies.
The appointments do not guarantee immediate contracts and work orders will be awarded progressively through mini-bidding or direct awards depending on PAC requirements.
