PETALING JAYA: Cropmate Bhd says all bank accounts previously frozen by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) have been unfrozen.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the fertiliser manufacturer said the freeze has been lifted on all affected bank accounts belonging to the company and its subsidiary.
Cropmate also clarified that no director, officer, employee or representative of the group has been arrested or charged with any offence arising from the matter.
It added that neither the company nor its subsidiary has been made the subject of any forfeiture proceedings in connection with the investigation.
On April 27, Cropmate announced that the MACC had frozen certain bank accounts of the company and its subsidiaries in connection with an ongoing anti-money laundering investigation.
