iCents unit undertakes RM13mil job


PETALING JAYA: iCents Group Holdings Bhd said its wholly-owned subsidiary VS Engineering Sdn Bhd has secured a RM12.9mil contract from a Malaysia-incorporated subsidiary of a Netherlands-based technology company to undertake renovation works for a factory, warehouse and ground floor office in Klang Valley.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, it said the customer specialises in products and technology solutions for the semiconductor, medical and life sciences, and infrastructure and energy industries.

The scope of works comprises, among others, supply, delivery and installation of building works, internal finishes, mechanical, electrical, extra low voltage system, plumbing sanitary, fire fighting systems and testing commissioning works.

The project is scheduled for completion four months from the date of commencement, which is to be informed by the project consultant.

“This award further diversifies our project portfolio and reflects the confidence customers have in our ability to deliver integrated engineering and construction solutions for technology-intensive industries,” said iCents executive director Foo Siang Leng in a statement.
