Permaju wins Chery’s Lepas dealership

PETALING JAYA: Permaju Industries Bhd (PIB) has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Cergaz Autohaus Sdn Bhd (CASB) has been appointed by Chery Auto Malaysia Sdn Bhd to be the authorised dealer for Lepas vehicles in Malaysia.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, PIB said the agreement with Chery will allow the former to expand its automotive business by becoming an authorised dealer for Lepas vehicles in Malaysia.

“The addition of the Lepas brand is expected to complement CASB’s existing automotive operations, diversify its product offerings and increase opportunities to generate revenue from vehicle sales, after-sales services and spare parts,” the company noted.
