Kerjaya Prospek unit bags construction job in Seremban for RM174.2mil

KUALA LUMPUR: Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd said its wholly-owned subsidiary Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn Bhd has accepted a contract from RB Land Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of IJM Land Bhd, for the construction of a main building and external works in Seremban for RM174.2mil.

The contract entails the completion of a 44-storey main building, which comprises a block of 778 serviced apartments and 15 retail units, among other structures and facilities.

The project will commence on June 1, 2026, and be completed within 35 months. It is expected to provide an additional stream of revenue for the group over the next three years.

“We are delighted to secure our second project in Seremban this year, a milestone that reflects the growing development momentum within Negeri Sembilan and solidifies our proven track record in delivering premium high-rise residential projects," said Kerjaya Prospek CEO and executive director Tee Eng Tiong in a statement.

He said the group remains optimistic about the outlook of the domestic construction sector, supported by sustained demand for strategically located developments and infrastructure expansion.

"Moving forward, we will continue to actively pursue high-value projects that align with our core expertise, while maintaining disciplined execution and operational efficiency," he added.

The latest win brings Kerjaya’s FY26 new contract wins to RM976.5mil and increases its total outstanding order book to RM4.3bil.
