Malakoff Corporation Bhd’s subsidiaries, GB3 Sdn Bhd and Segari Energy Ventures Sdn Bhd, have signed power purchase agreements with Tenaga Nasional Bhd to extend the operations of two gas-fired power plants in Lumut, Perak.

WCT Holdings Bhd has secured a RM152.7mn contract to undertake construction works for a highway interchange project in Taiwan.

Censof Holdings Bhd has accepted a RM17.8mn contract from the Federal Territories Islamic Religious Council for the development of an accounting system based on Islamic accounting standards.

Sunway Construction Group Bhd reported a 56.4% YoY jump in net profit for 1QFY26 to RM118.4mn from RM75.7mn a year earlier, driven by higher contributions across all operating segments.

Capital A Bhd posted a net profit of RM22.5mn for 1QFY26. While quarterly net profit declined 96.7% YoY from RM689.6mn a year earlier, the corresponding quarter had included full operational contributions from the airline assets prior to their carve-out.

Kuala Lumpur Kepong Bhd’s net profit surged 90.6% YoY to RM294.1mn in 2QFY26 from RM154.3mn a year earlier, mainly driven by gains from land disposals.

Pharmaniaga Bhd reported a 6.4% YoY increase in net profit for 1QFY26 to RM31.5mn, driven by stronger demand for in-house manufactured products from government hospitals.

99 Speed Mart Retail Holdings Bhd’s net profit for 1QFY26 rose 30.1% YoY to a record high of RM188.6mn from RM144.9mn a year earlier, driven by higher sales and a more favourable non-essential product mix.
