Pansar wins RM235mil water plant job


PETALING JAYA: Pansar Bhd has secured a contract from the Jabatan Bekalan Air Luar Bandar Sarawak to upgrade a water treatment plant in Saratok, Betong Division, Sarawak, worth RM234.89mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the marine and industrial products supplier said the scope of work involves the construction of a new 30 megalitres per day water treatment plant at the existing Kaki Wong plant site, a new raw water intake facility and two new booster pump stations.

“The works also include the installation of water pipelines, construction of a reservoir, chemical and ancillary buildings, and staff quarters, as well as the upgrading, refurbishment, and improvement of existing facilities, including administrative building, water treatment plant buildings, and the water pump house.”

Pansar said the project will commence in June 2026 and is scheduled for completion within 30 months.
