KUALA LUMPUR: PMW International Bhd said its wholly-owned subsidiary PMW Winabumi Sdn Bhd has renewed its long-standing concrete poles supply agreement with CTS Horizon Sdn Bhd.

The agreement entails the supply of pre-stressed spun concrete poles for telecommunications infrastructure over a period of three years, commencing Dec 12, 2025, with an option to extend for a further two years subject to mutual agreement.

"Orders will be issued progressively via purchase orders throughout the contract period, providing recurring demand visibility, while pricing will be based on an agreed unit price schedule, subject to revision in line with changes in input costs," said PMW in a statement.

The group said it has been supporting the supply of pre-stressed spun concrete poles for telecommunications infrastructure projects in Sabah, including the early completion of the School Point of Presence Phase 2 (School POP2) project.

"Looking ahead, PMW sees opportunities to expand its collaboration with CTS beyond Sabah into regions such as Sarawak and Kalimantan, in line with CTS’s broader growth strategy, which includes expansion into next-generation digital infrastructure and data centre-related developments.

"We remain encouraged by the positive outlook for infrastructure development, rising electricity demand and ongoing telecommunications expansion in Malaysia," said PMW executive director and CEO Lee Hon Hwa.
