Petra Energy unit secures offshore services contract from Vestigo Petroleum


KUALA LUMPUR: Petra Energy Bhd said its wholly-owned subsidiary Petra Energy Development Sdn Bhd has secured a contract from Vestigo Petroleum Sdn Bhd, a unit of PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd, for the provision of field operations management services for the SK407 production sharing contract and associated facilities in Sarawak.

It said in a bourse filing the contract, which does not state a fixed value, will run for two years from April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2028.

The award is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets per share of Petra Energy group for the duration of the contract.
