KUALA LUMPUR: MN Holdings Bhd’s (MNHB) wholly-owned subsidiary, MN Utilities Engineering Sdn Bhd, has accepted a RM275.9mil purchase order for works related to a data centre project in the central region of Peninsular Malaysia.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the utilities engineering services solutions provider said MN Utilities Engineering accepted the purchase order from a customer that provides infrastructure for hosting, data processing services and related activities.

The project involves the design, supply, installation, maintenance, testing and commissioning for a 275 kilovolt consumer landing station for the data centre.

The parties will further discuss the break-out of the contract across two phases, with completion expected by June 30, 2027.

MNHB expects the purchase order to contribute positively to its future earnings and net assets per share upon commencement of the project.
