Dialog finalises Cendramas PSC with PETRONAS, partners

KUALA LUMPUR: Dialog Group Bhd has finalised and signed the Cendramas production sharing contract (PSC) with Petroliam Nasional Bhd (PETRONAS) and its partners.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Dialog said its wholly-owned unit Dialog Resources Sdn Bhd (DRSB) will hold a 25% non-operating stake in the PSC, alongside EnQuest Petroleum Production Malaysia Ltd, while Medco Asia Pacific Ltd will act as operator with a 50% interest.

The Cendramas PSC, located off the coast of Peninsular Malaysia, comes with several minimum work commitments, including appraisal and infill wells drilling, development of discovered resources and asset life extension work.

The PSC becomes effective on Sept 23, 2026 for a period of 20 years.

“Dialog’s participation as a partner in the Cendramas PSC, a producing asset, is an extension of Dialog’s upstream business to further deepen integration and expansion across the upstream, midstream, and downstream businesses of the energy sector,” it said.

It said the participation complements its upstream investments and supports diversification across the energy sector, positioning the group to benefit from varying economic and oil price cycles while generating long-term recurring income.

Dialog said the PSC is not expected to have a material impact on its financials for the financial year ending June 30, 2026, but is expected to contribute positively to future earnings.
