ICT Zone Asia secures RM25mil order

ICT Zone Asia said the order was placed by a local company that provides ICT solutions and distribution.

PETALING JAYA: ICT Zone Asia Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, ICT Zone Sdn Bhd, has received a purchase order worth RM24.53mil for the trading of ICT hardware, including laptops and related peripheral devices.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, ICT Zone Asia said the order was placed by a local company that provides ICT solutions and distribution. The identity of the buyer has not been disclosed due to confidentiality clauses in the agreement.

The purchase would be financed through a combination of bank borrowings and internally generated funds.

“The purchase order is expected to contribute positively to the earnings per share and net assets per share of the company and its subsidiaries upon fulfilment of the purchase order,” it said.

“The group’s gearing level is expected to increase accordingly as the company proposes to procure bank borrowings to partially finance the purchase of ICT hardware,” added ICT Zone Asia
