KUALA LUMPUR: NexG Bhd has reinstated the executive powers and functions of its executive chairman and CEO.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the board of directors said it had decided on the reinstatement of Datuk Abu Hanifah Noordin, which came into immediate effect, following further deliberation and after taking into consideration the recent progress of the review process.

The board had announced on March 5, 2026, the temporary suspension of the executive powers and functions of Abu Hanifah as an administrative measure to allow an ongoing review to proceed in a transparent, independent and orderly manner.
