PETALING JAYA: Tower Real Estate Investment Trust
(Tower REIT) has appointed Douglas Richard Fyvie Crichton as its chief executive officer of GLM REIT Management Sdn Bhd, the manager of Tower REIT.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Tower REIT said Crichton (54) has over 25 years of Southeast Asia real estate experience in portfolio and project management.
“Prior to joining GLM REIT Management, he held senior positions in various companies, among others, director of Asset Manager of Low Yat Management Services Sdn Bhd and head of Asset Management of Savills (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.”
In a separate announcement, Tower REIT said it had appointed Wong Shao Ling (43) as its non-independent and non-executive director.
“Wong has over 20 years of experience in legal practice. She specialises in advising on complex, cross-border investments, with expertise in merger and acquisition, debt capital markets, private equity, and governance.
“She held various positions in Khazanah Nasional Bhd, including senior vice president, legal, before joining HL Management Co Sdn Bhd in 2022.”
