AZRB secures RM430mil Cameron Highlands road project


KUALA LUMPUR: Ahmad Zaki Resources Bhd (AZRB) has secured a RM430.06mil contract from the Government, through the Public Works Department, for the Cameron Highlands bypass road construction project.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said the project involves the construction of the Tanah Rata bypass.

It also includes upgrading works along Federal Route FT59 from Tanah Rata to Kea Farm, covering Sections 62.7–64.4, 66.0–68.0 and 69.8–70.8.

In addition, works will be carried out to upgrade Federal Route FT434, also known as Jalan Griddle.

AZRB said the contract will run for 42 months beginning Feb 16, 2026.

“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the group’s future earnings,” it said.
