TechStore wins RM55mil government job

PETALING JAYA: TechStore Bhd has accepted a letter of award (LOA) from the Ministry of Home Affairs to upgrade the record system at the National Registration Department in Putrajaya, worth RM54.79mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the enterprise information technology services provider said the contract period would be 60 months from July 8, 2026.

“Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the LOA is expected to contribute positively towards the future earnings of TechStore and its subsidiaries for the duration of the LOA and will not have any effect on the share capital and substantial shareholders’ shareholdings of TechStore group.”

The company said there are no foreseeable significant risks other than operational risk associated with the LOA during the contract period.

The board of directors, after due consideration, is of the opinion that the LOA is in the best interest of the TechStore Group.”
