Awanbiru appoints Azizah Ali as its group CEO

PETALING JAYA: Awanbiru Technology Bhd has appointed Azizah Ali as its group chief executive officer.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the information, technology and communications training and certification firm said Azizah, 57, has over 25 years of experience in leadership roles spanning sales, marketing and operations, with a strong track record in driving business growth, organisational transformation and national-level impact across the technology sector.

She is currently an independent non-executive director of Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Keluarga Bhd, where she was appointed to strengthen the board's technology and digital competencies.

Separately, Awanbiru said its Cloud Framework Agreement with the Government of Malaysia and Google Cloud Malaysia Sdn Bhd, which had been extended up to Dec 31, 2025, has been extended a further six months until June 30, 2026.

“This further extension reflects the continued collaboration among the parties in supporting the Government of Malaysia’s cloud adoption initiatives and ensuring continuity of cloud infrastructure services.”
