Mulpha International’s CEO retires


PETALING JAYA: Mulpha International Bhd’s chief executive officer (CEO) Gregory David Shaw has announced his retirement, with effect from Dec 5.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the property development firm said it is presently undertaking the search for a new CEO.

According to the group’s annual report, Shaw (66), was appointed CEO of the Company on Dec 2, 2016.

“Shaw graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from University of Queensland, Australia. He has extensive management experience across a range of industry sectors, including education, leisure, entertainment, property, and finance sectors.

Mulpha International said Shaw was previously the CEO of three public listed companies in Australia, namely Koala Corp Australia from 1990 to 1998, Port Douglas Reef Resorts from 1998 to 2002 and Ardent Leisure Group from 2002 to 2015.

He was appointed as CEO of Mulpha Australia Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mulpha International in 2015.
