ICT Zone bags RM14mil supply deal

PETALING JAYA: ICT Zone Asia Bhd has received a purchase order from Starza Corp Sdn Bhd for the leasing of information and communication technology (ICT) hardware and software for a period of 36 months, worth RM14.15mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, ICT Zone said the purchase order involves leasing of hardware and software including desktops, laptops, printers, and related peripheral devices to Starza for its delivery to a government agency.

“The purchase order will be carried out without any provision of services.

“The company proposes to utilise a combination of proceeds from the initial public offering, bank borrowings and/or internally generated funds to finance the purchase of hardware and software for the purpose of the lease.”

ICT Zone said its gearing level is expected to increase accordingly as it proposes to procure bank borrowings to partially finance the purchase of hardware and software to fulfil the purchase order.
