Positive outlook for Inta Bina on strong order book

PETALING JAYA: Inta Bina Group Bhd’s near-term outlook remains bright, buoyed by its strong order book, robust tender pipeline, and recovery in the property market, analysts say.

TA Research in a note said it remains positive of the construction firm’s near term outlook.

This is underpinned by a solid RM1.7bil order book and a robust RM4.5bil tender pipeline with healthy conversion prospects supported by strong developer relationships and the ongoing property market recovery, the research house said.

Following a recent meeting with the company’s management, the research house said the company remains confident of meeting its full-year targets, backed by a tender pipeline of about RM4.5bil, largely comprising property-development projects from established developers like Eco World Development Group Bhd, Gamuda Land, Sime Darby Property Bhd, Tropicana Corp Bhd and others.

“This strong client network and consistent project delivery continues to provide a steady flow of repeat jobs.

“Coupled with the improving sentiment in the property sector and the anticipated pickup in new launches, management expects a healthy conversion rate from its tender book in the coming quarters,” the research house added.

Furthermore, TA Research said the group’s recent expansion into design-and-build (D&B) projects marks a strategic step beyond the traditional build-only model, enhancing margins through better cost control and value engineering.

The capability strengthens Inta Bina’s competitiveness in tenders and aligns with developers’ preference for integrated delivery, positioning the group for higher success rates and improved job-win visibility, particularly in large-scale highrise projects.

While most of its current tender book remains focused in the Klang Valley, management highlighted that it has also started tendering for several highrise residential projects in Johor to capitalise on the state’s robust property launches and housing demand.

Following the completion of Senuri Residences in Shah Alam, the research house said management plans to launch a new project, Seiring Setia, by the first quarter of next year.

The development, comprising over 400 residential units with an estimated gross development value of around RM200mil, will be located on in Bukit Jelutong, Selangor.

TA Research has lowered Inta Bina’s target price to RM0.88 from RM1 with a “buy” call on the stock.
