PTT wins RM31.7 mil construction job, bags warehouse automation deal


PETALING JAYA: PTT Synergy Group Bhd's (PTT) wholly-owned subsidiary, Pembinaan Tetap Teguh Sdn Bhd (PTTSB) has accepted a contract from Sime Darby Property (Bukit Raja) Sdn Bhd to undertake construction and earthworks and ancillary works.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, PTT noted the contract is valued at RM31.68mil and involves works at Residential Area Phase 5A (R17), Bandar Bukit Raja Stage 3 project in Kapar, Selangor.

Date of possession shall commence on April 17, and date for completion shall be Oct 16, 2027 and Aug 16, 2027 for overall and R17, respectively.

In a separate filing, PTT stated PTT’s indirect 70%-owned subsidiary, PTT Robotics Sdn Bhd, has accepted a contract to provide a warehouse automation system, including automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS) equipment, from Sime Darby Property (Elmina East Asset II) Sdn Bhd and Mydin Mohamed Holdings Bhd.

PTT will lease the ASRS to Mydin at a monthly rental of RM900,000, subject to rental escalation every three years for a lease term of 15 years. The warehouse will be rented by Mydin from Sime Darby Property.
