Din Tan Yong Chia
PETALING JAYA: Tropicana Corp Bhd
has redesignated its group managing director, Din Tan Yong Chia (32), to deputy group chief executive officer.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said Din’s father, Tan Sri Tan Chee Sing, is the group executive vice chairman and a major shareholder of Tropicana Corp.
“Din graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Management from Cass Business School, City University, London in 2014. He obtained a Master of Science in Management with information Systems and Digital Innovation from London School of Economics and Political Science, United Kingdom in 2015.
“After an internship with Morgan Stanley in their Private Wealth Management division, Din joined the digital marketing division of a local tech start-up for a year, prior to joining Tropicana Corp group's marketing department.”
His brother, Dion Tan Yong Chien and brother in-law, Jared Ang Tzer Shen, are both the group non-independent non-executive directors of Tropicana.
